The double bass strings of the CONTRA series are made of high-quality, selected silver alloy wire, which is hand-wound by experienced specialists on a multi-filament nylon core.
These innovative strings are designed to provide a sound and feel very similar to gut strings. With the best sound projection and support, they are excellent for plucking and can also be played very well with a bow.
Mark Strings are manufactured in Abruzzo (Italy) using the best and selected materials with ultimate quality controls, in the best tradition of high quality production.
