Information for the additional designations B-STOCK, BACKLINE, ENDORSER and SALE
B-STOCK
Products with the addition (B-STOCK) in the product name are no longer in the “original packaging” condition as they arrive with us. This means the boxes were opened and the items were used for different purposes. These can be, for example
- Exhibitions
- Field service presentation
- Short-term use by retailers, end customers or trade magazines
Products that were opened for the purpose of photos or a content check (customs) will be not recognized by us as B-STOCK, but are still considered to be in the “original packaging”.
Of course, these products are technically flawless. In some cases there may be slight signs of wear.
This category also includes products (mostly basses) that have optical defects right from the factory.
This usually concerns the quality of the paintwork, but can also include a small dent or minor impurity in the milling, etc.
For these products, we document whether they are technically flawless and whether the function corresponds to the manufacturer's specifications.
This concerns neck, electronics, hardware, playability, intonation etc.
For time and cost reasons, we do not document the specific defects, i.e. not every lack of paintwork or small dents, etc.
We cannot do this even upon request.
Products with stronger traces of use or technical defects will not be considered B-STOCK by us offered and declared accordingly.
BACKLINE
The addition (BACKLINE) in the product name indicates that these products show more signs of use than B-STOCK, but are still technically flawless.
This designation applies to products that may have been in our backline inventory for a short time or that were often out of stock, but were still treated with care and attention.
We also ensure that these products are in good optical and technical condition.
ENDORSER
As the name suggests, we offer products here that, as returns from endorsers or external backline companies, show strong signs of wear and have already experienced everyday life on tour.
However, these products are rarely found in our webshop as they are usually used for several years.
SALE
Under the category or filter SALE you can find products in our shop that will no longer be offered in our product range in the future.
Under certain circumstances we can no longer buy these products from the manufacturer, so we sell off the stock.
These products are all in their "original packaging" with a full manufacturer's guarantee of 2 years plus 12 months MARKBASS Germany guarantee.
A separate return agreement applies to the product groups listed above: The return shipping costs must be paid by the buyer.
